La Bella e La Bestia Musical

Trama:
In una fredda notte invernale una vecchia mendicante bussa al portone di un castello ricco e sfarzoso per chiedere al principe che vi abita un riparo per la notte. In cambio offre tutto ciò che possiede: una rosa rossa. Il padrone del castello, arrogante ed egoista, caccia via la donna offeso dal suo aspetto ripugnante, ridendo di lei e del suo futile dono.

È così che la storia ha inizio, ma nulla è come sembra. La vecchia donna è in realtà una fata bellissima e potente che punisce il principe per il suo comportamento trasformando lui in un’orrida bestia e tutta la sua servitù in oggetti animati. Per rompere l’incantesimo la Bestia dovrà imparare ad amare ed a farsi amare nonostante il suo aspetto mostruoso e dovrà riuscirci prima che la rosa magica lasciata dalla fata perda il suo ultimo petalo.
Riuscirà la Bestia a incontrare una donna pronta ad amarlo e a spezzare la maledizione?

The Beauty and The Beast Musical

Plot:
On a cold winter night, an old beggar woman comes upon a glorious castle belonging to a young prince. She asks the master of the castle to allow her to stay the night, away from the cold, and in return she would give him a single rose, but the prince was vain and uncaring and turned her away solely for her appearance. As he did this, she warned him not to be fooled by appearances, as true beauty lies within, only to be rejected again. Seeing his horrible heart for what it truly was, she transformed into a beautiful enchantress and turned the prince into a hideous Beast and his servants into different objects. She gave him the rose to use as an hour-glass. The one way he could break the spell was to learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell…

La Belle et la Bête Commédie Musicale

Résumé:

Par une froide nuit d'hiver, une vieille et laide femme frappe à la porte du château d'un prince. Elle demande au prince un abri pour la nuit mais elle n'a qu'une simple rose à lui offrir comme paiement. Étant imbu de lui-même et sans cœur, le prince refusa le cadeau, simplement en raison de la laideur de la mendiante. La vieille femme l'avertit que la vraie beauté se trouve dans le cœur et non dans l'apparence. Le prince refuse à nouveau et la femme se révèle être une puissante et magnifique enchanteresse. Comme elle ne voit pas d'abord dans le cœur du prince, elle punit le cruel et imbu prince en le transformant en une Bête. Les serviteurs du château seront eux lentement métamorphosés : ils deviennent des objets proches de leurs fonctions, tasses à café, bougeoirs, meubles et autres accessoires; à la fin de la transformation, l'humain devient l'objet inanimé. Le sort ne peut être brisé que si la bête apprend à aimer quelqu'un et reçoit son amour en retour. Toutefois, cela doit ce produire avant que le dernier pétale de la rose donné par l'enchanteresse ne tombe, sinon il restera une bête à tout jamais.
